Put the stud in spud: 5 step roasted sweet potatoes

Recipie: Sweet Potato

Serving: 1-2 (depending on the size you choose)

Ingredients: 

1 sweet potato

Optional: 

Salt

Pepper 

Variation:

Skip salt and pepper and add a sprinkle of nutmeg (if you have it)  

Tools: 

Aluminum foil

Cookie sheet (if you don't own one, they sell aluminum sheets at the grocery store for about 50 cents) 

Instructions: 

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

2. Wash your sweet potatoes really really well

3. Line your cookie sheet in aluminum foil (see photo)

4. Bake for 30 minutes and then flip and bake for 30 more minutes

5. Take out, slice, add salt/pepper to taste and eat 

 

Note: if you went with the nutmeg option, sprinkle some instead of salt and pepper - nutmeg is similar to cinnamon and will give you a warmer, homier taste
